Ending the conference with a high-spirited awards ceremony, Microsoft recognised stand-out partners of 2007. “Every year our partners raise the bar higher and higher at the Microsoft Partner Awards,” said Pip Marlow, director SMB and channels.
In total 18 partners were recognised and Express Data won the Microsoft Distributor Partner of the Year award. “I guess it hasn’t come as a total surprise because we have excellent relationships with our resellers but we certainly won’t be taking this for granted,” said Mal Shaw, general manager of sales at Express Data.
Gene Clewett, chief executive officer at Hands-on Systems said the company is extremely proud of the MBS Microsoft Dynamics NAV Solution Partner of the Year award. “This is great recognition for the effort made by our consultants and developers. Our staff have done an excellent job designing and creating some truly innovative Microsoft Dynamics business solutions for our clients and this award will encourage them to keep up the good work.”
Clayton Moulynox, managing director, Evolve IT Australia said that winning the Microsoft Small Business Specialist Partner of the Year award was terrific confirmation that the company is delivering exceptional business value to clients. “Industry accolades such as this just inspire us to continue to deliver technology solutions that are rewarding for our clients. To be successful and competitive, most small businesses need to be innovative with technology and it’s exciting that we can help drive that innovation”.
Getronics won the Microsoft Infrastructure Security Partner of the Year award. “This is a great achievement that was a result of a strong three-way partnership working hand-in-hand with the customer and Microsoft. Security is core to our business and to be recognised at the national level helps us to reinforce the importance of not only secure ICT environments but secure well managed ICT environments,” said Brett Lightfoot, national professional services and business solutions manager, Getronics Australia.
