Perth systems integrator Cirrus Network has clinched a VMware deal with iiNet worth approximately $1.75 million.
The iiNet win follows the appointment of former iiNet director Andrew Milner to the Cirrus board in November last year, with plans to “fast track” Cirrus’ growth plans.
The new iiNet deal, detailed on the Cirrus Networks site, is one of several large contracts totalling more than $4.6 million revealed by the Perth integrator, which is in the midst of a reverse listing with Liberty Resources.
Cirrus is building its profile outside the mining sector. Other wins also include a $2.1 million EMC storage contract with Western Australia’s largest locally operated bank and a $750,000 deal to deliver a Palto Alto security solution to Curtin University.
The firm hit headlines in October last year with news it was aiming for a reverse listing on the ASX via a deal with Liberty Resources. Liberty shareholders will be given the opportunity to approve the deal and a listing is expected around the end of May or early June.
Cirrus counts Aruba, Juniper, F5, Dell, Riverbed and NextDC among its partners, as well as being an Apple authorised reseller.
