Sydney-headquartered reseller takes out SAP award

Presence of IT has earned the 'cloud HR solutions reseller' trophy at SAP's annual partner excellence awards for Asia-Pacific Japan.

The reseller was the only Australian winner at the SAP Field Kick-Off Meeting in Singapore last month. Consulting firm Accenture won the partner of the year and 'cloud services' honours.

"We are honoured to be recognised as a top SAP partner in the APJ region. I am really proud of our team for their hard work and dedication," said Presence of IT co-chief executive Shane Grobler.

The boss of the Sydney-headquartered multinational said that the company had a "strong year", especially in the domestic market.

"We continue to invest in our sales capability, go-to-market strategy and customer innovation. This award comes on the back of a long list of successful SAP and SuccessFactors implementations," he said.

Presence of IT is an HR ERP specialist, with additional branches in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane as well as Singapore, USA and Canada.

Fujitsu was recognised as the best 'global value-added reseller', with NTT Data (embedded solution), Cisco (platform) and IBM (industry solution) nabbing the technology partner categories.

Other reseller award categories were won by firms from the Philippines and Indonesia.

The SAP website stated that nominations for the awards were garnered from "internal SAP sales data", then a steering committee consisting of SAP reps had selected the winners.
