Artis strikes maiden partnership with Dicker Data

Sydney-based SAP and Microsoft Gold Partner Artis Group has struck its first partnership with Dicker Data to expand its SAP offering.

While Artis was already an SAP reseller offering SAP ByDesign, the new partnership allows the reseller to offer a BI, data visualisation and security bundle. The package includes SAP Afaria, SAP Lumira and SAP BusinessObjects.

An Artis spokesperson stated it was the first time the Fast50 company had partnered with Dicker Data.

The software bundle is “uniquely paired” with the Artis service offering, with a soft launch beginning this week to gauge interest and in-house demonstrations to kick-off in early 2015.

An Artis spokesperson said the company had been speaking to organisations in the government, manufacturing, corporate and education sectors.

Dicker Data has been working with SAP for the past twelve months to develop a channel of quality partners, stated the distie's chief executive David Dicker.

“Partners such as Artis Group who are able to package and deliver unique software solutions encompassing their own service offerings in response to customer needs are integral to the continued growth of the SAP channel in Australia,” Dicker stated via email.

In March, CRN reported that SAP had grown its reseller network from 50 to more than 250 partners over a five-year period.
