The Samsung Galaxy S III has long been rumoured to arrive packing a quad-core processor out of the box, and Samsung has confirmed to the Korea Times this will indeed be the case.
Samsung will use its homemade 1.5Ghz Exynos 4412 A9 chip to power its upcoming Galaxy S III Android smartphone which could offer up to a 26 per cent increase in speed with a 50 per cent increase in battery life when compared to current offerings.
There have been plenty of alleged Samsung Galaxy S III leaked photos ahead of its suspected April launch, and with quad-core competition in the form of the HTC One X, the smartphone race looks set to be more competitive than ever.
