Infrastructure-as-a-service provider Zettagrid has been named disaster recovery vendor Zerto's partner of the year.
The Perth-based company was honoured for its work with clients such as TechPatrol, Mrs Macs Pies and the Health Insurance Fund of Australia.
Zettagrid's offering, SecondSite, is a real-time disaster recovery replication service built on Zerto's platform, which speeds up the recovery of client's IT setup from corruption by running a cloned environment in Zettagrid's cloud until the primary site recovers.
Zettagrid said that SecondSite removes the need for secondary data centres, duplicating IT equipment and lengthy wait periods that "can interrupt operations" and "impact productivity".
“With Zettagrid’s SecondSite built on Zerto’s cloud business continuity platform, their disaster recovery and cloud market share is growing rapidly,” said Zerto country manager Matthew Kates.
“SecondSite is a game-changer for businesses of all sizes across the APAC region who want to replicate their virtualised IT environment into Zettagrid cloud,” said Zetta Group CEO Nathan Harman. “It’s the most affordable, scalable and quick disaster recovery solution available today.”
