Xero has revealed changes in management to support its strategy to reach $1 billion in operating revenue.
Country managers will report directly to the chief executive officer. The chief marketing and revenue officer role has been replaced, with the new chief marketing officer role to focus on global brand and marketing communications.
As a result, Andy Lark is leaving the company to "pursue new ventures". Lark helped drive the company's success and building capability across multiple regions, according to Xero.
Lark had been with the company since September 2014. He previously worked for companies including Sun Microsystems, Nortel, Dell and Fronde.
The company also announced a new president for its operations in the Americas. Keri Gohman will start in December and will be based in Denver, where Xero expects to open its local operational investments unit. Gohman was the executive vice president and general manager of Fortune 500 Capital One Small Business' banking division.
As a result, Russ Fujioka, Xero's US president, will leave the company after deciding to remain in the San Francisco Bay area. Fujioka had been appointed in February 2015 and was based at Xero's US headquarters.
"Russ has been instrumental in building a strong platform for US growth over the last two years. Xero thanks him for his contribution in setting up the region for strong future growth in a highly competitive market," Xero said.
Xero also created the two new roles of chief people officer and chief accounting officer.
