Workshops to help resellers survive economic downturn

In collaboration with the distributor's top vendors including Canon, Epson, Fuji Xerox and Samsung, they will be held at its recently opened business centre in Collingwood.

Paul Harman CEO of Alloys said the workshops give resellers the 'type of thing many of them have not had the chance to do for a long time'.

"The workshop series focuses on the things you can't learn from a brochure or from the web," he said.

"The series provides real world examples and solutions, competitive comparisons and actual sales skills. So our customers not only leave with greater product information they also leave with some new sales skills."

The next workshops to be held will be 'Making more margin with Managed Print Solutions', Wednesday 6th May and 'Diversifying your Canon Product Range', Wednesday 13th May.

Alloys has also teamed up with Tim Williams sales trainer from Deakon.

"The Maximiser series provides Alloys and our vendors with a vehicle to support and educate our customers," said Harman.

"Part of our non-traditional service is educating and providing our customers with greater ability to perform sales tasks.

"The more difficult the markets the stronger our customers need to be, in order to satisfy their performance requirements."
