Enterprise orchestration platform Workato has announced the availability of its core AI features in the Workato Australia data center.
Every element of the AI stack, from model inference to data processing to storage, operates exclusively within the Australian data center.
Workato Enterprise MCP (Model Context Protocol) enables users to orchestrate and govern AI agents using MCP servers and pre-built Enterprise Skills, while Agent Studio provides a unified experience to build, deploy, and govern enterprise-ready Genies, the company's name for AI agents.
Workato GO brings enterprise search, enterprise context, and Genies together, and the company's Intelligent Document Processing automates data extraction and understanding from semi-structured and unstructured documents like receipts, emails, and handwritten notes.
Workato ONE, the platform underpinning it all, is a platform for building secure, enterprise-ready agents.
“For Australian and New Zealand enterprises embracing AI, data residency and regulatory compliance remain critical priorities,” said John Deeb, VP of customer success and field CTO, APAC at Workato.
“Hosting, running, and processing all AI models within Australia means our customers get enterprise-grade agentic AI without compromise—full capability, full control, complete compliance. This establishes a new foundation for trustworthy AI deployment.”
