Winc launches cloud marketplace for SMBs

Office supplies reseller Winc has launched its own cloud marketplace for bundled Microsoft products.

The self-service portal, dubbed Cloud. Winc Marketplace, offers subscription-based licensing to small and medium-sized businesses looking to scale up or down in real time.

Winc, formerly Staples Australia, also provides complementary services to support the Microsoft programs, including virtualised backup, additional security and infrastructure-as-a-service.

“Winc sources, packages and delivers whatever a workplace needs to work across office essentials, furniture, safety equipment - and now with Cloud. Winc Marketplace - the complete package when it comes to complex technology solutions,” Winc Australia chief executive Darren Fullerton said.

“Our long heritage in technology procurement means we’re uniquely placed to be able to
remove so many of the pain points commonly experienced by SMBs who attempt to navigate
this space on their own. We’ve essentially already done all the heavy lifting many times over.

“By looking after end-to-end IT set up for our customers, we free companies to do what they do best.”

Fullerton added that simple tasks like centralised billing and user usage reports will be easier through the solutions in the Cloud. Winc Marketplace.
