Datastor is the sole value added distributor for Websense in New Zealand and will distribute the complete product range of web, data and email security.
Datastor's has an extensive nationwide base of resellers and the appointment will increase the Websense presence in New Zealand, claimed Websense.
"[The distie] is a strategic fit because it has excellent business and technical skills, strong geographical coverage throughout the country and established relationships with vendors such as Riverbed with whom we recently established a global partnership," Chris Barton, New Zealand manager at Websense said.
Datastor will also manage renewals for existing customers looking to upgrade existing Websense deployments.
