WatchGuard has appointed David Higgins as country manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Higgins has held various roles in the IT industry over the past 30 years. Most recently, he spent two years as director of business development and channels at Trend Micro.
Scott Robinson, vice president of WatchGuard Asia Pacific, said Higgins would be a "major asset" to WatchGuard.
"His proficiency in driving sales and developing business channels for multi-national sales organisations will greatly enhance the business strategies we are implementing as IT security continues to remain at centre stage among CIO priorities and becomes a critical factor in both the success of our partners and customers," said Robinson.
