Verizon Business reported today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Cybertrust.
The merger will combine the companies' assets, products, professional services and people into an enhanced Verizon Business Security Solutions practice.
Each company's customers can access a portfolio of security offerings combined under the 'Verizon Business Security Solutions powered by Cybertrust' brand.
Verizon Business has also acquired Cybertrust's ICSA Labs, which will remain an independent division of the company.
Verizon Business continues to operate seven Cybertrust Security Operations Centres in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
"Security, mobility and the extended enterprise are accelerating the pace of globalisation," said Nancy Gofus, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Verizon Business.
"Through the Cybertrust acquisition, Verizon Business is extremely well positioned to help enterprises meet these challenges head on."
