Oracle consulting and managed services provider UXC Red Rock has appointed Philip Milne as its chief executive, effective 1 March.
Milne replaces Jonathan Rubinsztein, who left the company last month to head Infomedia.
UXC managing director Cris Nicolli said: “Philip brings an experienced and well-balanced skillset to the CEO role and is well-positioned to lead the team. Philip’s appointment, backed by a strong executive team, positions UXC Red Rock soundly for the start of a new journey."
Milne has been promoted from his current position of general manager for Victoria and South Australia.
According to UXC, Milne will be responsible in growing the business, retaining and building new and long-term client relationships, and building new services and solutions based on UXC Red Rock’s IP and cloud in the chief executive chair.
"UXC is committed to competing more aggressively in the market and extending our leadership position within the Oracle ecosystem. Philip will be instrumental in driving these initiatives,” said Nicolli.
Milne joined UXC 10 years ago as a co-founder and chief of Peoplesoft specialist BML & Associates, which was acquired by UXC Limited and integrated into UXC Red Rock.
“As part of the UXC Red Rock team based in Canberra, Philip was instrumental in leading the team to win one of the company’s largest-ever Oracle contracts within Defence,” UXC stated.
UXC Red Rock is a wholly owned subsidiary of UXC Limited and is a leading provider of Oracle’s consulting and managed services in the ANZ region.
Earlier this month, UXC announced that it had jumped the final hurdle in merging with CSC after the Supreme Court of Victoria approved the scheme of arrangement. The merger is expected to see both companies generating approximately $1.4 billion in revenue and bringing its headcount to 5100.
