Cloud-based video communications vendor BlueJeans has appointed its first Australian distributor.
US-headquartered BlueJeans has chosen VExpress to distribute its products, which include Primetime, onVideo, onSocial and the recently launched Huddle Rooms.
VExpress, which is based in Sydney, specialises in distributing telecommunications, data and mobility solutions.
BlueJeans said the partnership would help it expand in Australia, and would also make it easier for resellers to offer BlueJeans products.
“BlueJeans will complement resellers’ existing portfolio of communication solutions, making it the ideal fit for partners that are transitioning to a recurring revenue and cloud model,” according to the company.
APAC managing director James Brennan said the partnership showed BlueJeans’ commitment to the channel as well as its focus on pre- and post-sales support.
“The needs of the modern workplace are constantly evolving, so it’s critical for BlueJeans to have partners like VExpress who can meet our customers’ complete business needs with transformative solutions today and into the future,” he said.
VExpress general manager David McEwen said the partnership would give partners and resellers the benefit of expert support in a secure, easy-to-use, cloud-based service.
“We have already seen an impressive amount of interest and demand for BlueJeans solutions across our reseller community, so we are excited about the partnership’s huge potential,” he said.
BlueJeans, which is headquartered in California, claims to have nearly 5000 customers and 25 million participants around the world.
