US security vendor adds Sydney sales office
Infrascale's HQ in the States

Demand for security solutions following the fallout over the NSA's Prism spying program have helped motivate security vendor Infrascale to set up a new Australian base.

The Sydney site adds to its local footprint; Infrascale has hosted customer data at its data centre in Melbourne since 2005.

Infrascale’s cloud platform runs from 11 data centres on five continents, powering its solutions, which include FileLocker and SOS Online Backup.

According to an Infrascale spokesperson, the vendor's solutions "have been recognised as among of the most secure available, a requirement in high demand post-Prism".

Infrascale Australia sales director Matthew Love says: “Because Australian enterprises demand a mature, highly accountable solution, Australian MSPs must provide a high-value solution that doesn’t compromise on flexibility and features such as security.

"Infrascale solutions are an ideal match for the channel with private label branding and a toolbox of proven products at prices that will help them grow," added Love.
