Security distributor Unixpac has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Insightix, a US-based developer of Insightix Network Access Control (NAC) product.
Insightix NAC monitors the network to provide IT infrastructure information and detect in real-time new device that connects to the network.
Tom Piotrowski, managing director at Unixpac said it was the first distributor to bring the NAC products to Australia.
“Previously, the products were only available through resellers in the US. Products were also available through direct purchase from the vendor,” he said.
Piotrowski said Insightix NAC also complimented its other network security software product from Shavlik.
“The vendor notified us that its patch management products worked well with the Insightix NAC product. This helped us to make the decision to take Insightix on board,” he said.
