Unixpac signs Entrust

Unixpac will distribute Entrust's full product range, which is available immediately to channel partners.

Tom Piotrowski, managing director at Unixpac said every IT professional has known for a long time that requiring just a user name and password to get on the network or to access sensitive information on a website does not deliver tight security posture.

"Entrusts breadth of solutions spanning SSL certificates, PKI encryption and authentication tokens is very appealing.

"Unixpac has decided to invest in the business relationship and offer this highly advanced technology to its channel partners in Australia," said Piotrowski.

Entrust IndentityGuard multifactor authentication methods include Transparent Authentication, Physical Form Factor Authenticators, Non-Physical Form Factor Authenticators, Mutual Authentication.

Unixpac distributes several security vendors including Shavlik and Imprivata.
