UltraServe founder steps down as CEO
Matthew Hyland

UltraServe has announced Matthew Hyland is the new chief executive as its founder Samuel Yeats takes a non-executive role on the board of directors.

UltraServe is an Australia-based cloud and managing hosting services company with presence in Brazil, India, North America and the UK.

Hyland, who was the chief financial officer for the company, will manage the operations and international expansion.

Before joining UltraServe, Hyland had been chief financial officer at NextGen Group for two years and at Fox Sports for just over five years. The executive have also worked for Telstra, Optus and British Telecom.

"We have established a good business here in Australia and have international presence and clients. Being on US ground will be a big thing for us and will help enhance service to our customers in the region," said Hyland.

UltraServe founder Samuel Yeats said: "Matt is the ideal person to take on the chief executive role because he has immense experience working in related industries with a particular focus on enterprise B2B clients. I’ll stay actively involved in guiding UltraServe as a director."

Yeats is expected to be involved in the business' strategy but he will also focus on private projects.

In 2014 UltraServe was the first cloud platform provider for SAP-owned commerce software suite Hybris.
