Cybersecurity vendor Trend Micro said its Trend Vision One - Sovereign and Private Cloud (SPC) solution has attained Google Cloud Ready - Regulated and Sovereignty Solutions status.
The newly acquired status is significant for organisations in highly regulated sectors with strict data sovereignty requirements.
Mick McCluney, field chief technology officer of ANZ at Trend, pointed to the partnership's focus on flexibility and innovation.

This development builds upon Trend's existing collaboration with Google Cloud, which includes protection for Google Workspace, mobile security for Android and Trend Vision One on Google Cloud Marketplace since 2023.
Trend Micro's AI-powered cybersecurity platform currently protects hundreds of thousands of organisations and millions of individuals across various digital environments, the security vendor said.
