Trend Micro Australia and New Zealand has changed its distribution structure in Australia to make things simpler for its channel partners.
As part of the restructuring, all Trend Micro solutions, products and services (except consumer software), will be distributed by Ingram Micro and itX Group, effective of 2 July. Following the changes to the distribution model, all sales of five-user licenses and above will go through both distributors for consistency of ordering and processing, which will provide greater flexibility and choice for Trend Micro’s partners.
Dave Patnaik, director of small and medium business A/NZ said with close to 40 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue, this new distribution model will give resellers greater return on their investment as well as helping drive their business growth in the process.
Trend Micro will also launch its new partner programme on 1 August, which will include updates to rebates, marketing development funds as well as expanding the existing benefits and incentives for participating partners.
