Trend Micro channel manager departs
Robin Marjason

Trend Micro Australia channel and distribution director Robin Marjason has left the company.

The security vendor's Australian office confirmed Marjason's departure and announced that ANZ director of enterprise sales Indi Siriniwasa is now acting in the channel manager role.

Trend Micro Asia-Pacific cloud and data centre security director Sasha Pavlovic told CRN that Siriniwasa's dual role would continue until at least next year: "A permanent replacement is on the cards, but this is what we're going with for now and we'll re-evaluate in 2016."

Trend Micro also has Marjason's former reports currently assisting with filling in for his departure.

"We've got channel leads on the ground in north and south [regions]," said Pavlovic. "We've got Rachnar Kumar as channel manager for the south and Mark Spencer who is the north [manager]."

CRN contacted Marjason for comment but he had not responded at the time of writing. His LinkedIn profile currently shows his position as "chief renovation officer" at home.

"Robin has moved on. He had enough of the industry and is doing home renovations now or something like that," Pavlovic said.

After a long IT career in the United Kingdom, Marjason came to Australia and worked at distributor Westcon for five years.

"I joined Trend Micro in July last year, with one key objective: to build and execute a channel strategy to increase the medium and enterprise business," Marjason told CRN earlier this year.
