Trend Micro APAC consumer boss Tim Falinski's role will expand to include leadership of the company's ANZ channel.
He replaces Peter Hewett, who left in January this year to lead software development firm Quixxi. He is also general manager for sales and marketing for startup accelerator Lakeba Group.
"Trend Micro can confirm Tim Falinski, senior director – consumer, APAC, has expanded his current role to include leading the commercial channel business in ANZ," a Trend Micro spokesperson told CRN.
"In addition to the consumer division, Tim will be responsible for managing Trend Micro’s channel business growth, continuing to strengthen partnership with Trend Micro’s Australian and New Zealand partners including resellers and distributions, and enable them to effectively deliver Trend Micro solutions to market."
Falinski joined Trend Micro in 2012 as its ANZ director for consumer sales after working for NEC in various sales and managerial roles, and also worked at the now-defunct Osborne Computers.
