Trend Micro has partnered with global IT services company Wipro Technologies to offer virtualisation security for data centres.
Under the agreement, Wipro becomes a global reseller of Trend Micro's threat management, web, messaging, server and endpoint security.
The partnership will involve the development of secure public and private cloud computing environments and compliance of critical IT assets.
"Partnering with Wipro allows us to harness their global technology services and capabilities and together we will create ‘security that fits' by offering scalable, tailored solutions," said Dave Patnaik, managing director at Trend Micro ANZ.
Prasenjit Saha, vice president and global head of enterprise security solutions at Wipro, said, "By working closely with Trend Micro, we'll be better able to address the operational security requirements of our data centre customers."
