Cyber security vendor Tenable said it has appointed Talib Yousry as its new channel director for the Asia Pacific - Japan region.
Yusry has been in the role since October this year, having joined from US security vendor ForcePoint.
He is the former director of channels at Pulse Secure, and was Telstra's Singapore based global head of channels and alliances for almost five years.
At Tenable, Yousry will steer the vendor's channel strategy, overseeing partnership initiatives and advancing collaborative efforts in the region.
"Preventive security is no longer an optional approach but a prerequisite,” Yousry said.
“I look forward to engaging in collaborative discussions with our channel partners, resellers, and distributors alongside the talented Tenable APJ team."
"Together, we aim to simplify our customers' cybersecurity practices and provide the crucial risk data needed for faster prioritisation and remediation," he added.
For the Australian and New Zealand markets, Westcon-Comstor is the sole distributor of Tenable since 2022.
