Telstra, NEC Australia and RIoT Solutions headline Fortinet Asia Pacific partner awards for 2017

Andrew Vinton from Adelaide-based system integrator Vintek bagged the top individual honour at Fortinet’s 2017 Asia-Pacific partner of the year awards, receiving the FortiMVP outstanding Sales Engineer award.

The cybersecurity vendor handed out its awards at its PartnerSYNC Asia Pacific conference in Taiwan, where more than 200 distributors, resellers and other partners from 16 countries converge.

Telstra, NEC Australia, Interactive and 2017 CRN Fast50 winner RIoT Solutions were also recognised for their efforts, joining partners from different parts of Asia.

Telstra won the platinum partner award alongside Singapore-based NCS and South Korea-based CMT Information and Communication.

NEC Australia was one of three gold partners recognised, while Interactive was one of three partners to bag silver partner honours. RIoT Solutions was named rookie of the year.

"Our partners have displayed dedication, teamwork and commitment to make 2017 a successful year together with Fortinet,” Fortinet senior regional director for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific Islands Jon McGettigan said.

“Congratulations to our award winners. Our Security Fabric technology vision and portfolio are continuing to resonate with customers in today’s increasingly complex threat landscape. Together we have a great opportunity to lay the seeds for a more secure digital future.”
