The phone has access to 3G applications like Mobile FOXTEL from Telstra, BigPond TV and Whereis Navigator with in-built GPS capabilities.
It has a 2.6 inch OLED display, 5MP camera, DVD video camera and player, stereo MP3 player and in-built FM transmitter.
"The Nokia N85 combines a state of the art 5MP camera with an 8GB memory card which is perfect for downloading and storing music and videos from the huge range BigPond mobile has to offer," said Glenice Maclellan executive director, Telstra Consumer.
Ross Fielding, executive director, Telstra Product Management, said the Nokia N85 is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled, and gives customers fast access to friends with instant messaging, mobile internet, widgets and social networking.
The handset is compatible with MyConnect, Telstra's next generation messaging suite for Next G and BigPond customers.
MyConnect combines email, voicemail, picture messaging, SMS and multimedia communications in one secure, integrated online and mobile service.
It is available for $1199 on a $100 plan for 24 months.
