The contract win involves the migration of around 2,000 Imagine customers and 7,000 phone lines to Telcoinabox’s telecommunications platform. Customers will have access to telephony products and services, including cheaper phone rates, said Damian Kay, managing director of Telcoinabox.
According to Kay, Telcoinabox will generate revenues of $3 million over the next 12 months from this contract.
“One stream of our business strategy is to provide community based organisations with telephone and data communication services,” he said.
Telcoinabox has spent the last 12 months expanding and upgrading its infrastructure and companies like Imagine are reaping the benefits of the one-stop-shop model of an all-in-one billing, provisioning and CRM system, claimed Kay.
According to Kay, Imagine is a member-based organisation which offers businesses and individuals greater cost savings for their utilities and telecommunications. Products offered are planet friendly and savings are donated to earth-preserving causes.
“Telcoinabox has also recently opened operations in the UK to service one of its service providers,” he said.
