Sydney-headquartered technology services provider Tecala Group has been appointed a Check Point Software partner in Australia.
The partnership aims to help customers improve their email cybersecurity posture and provide cybersecurity solutions to help them safeguard against known and emerging risks.
Tecala’s Next Generation Email Security solution built on Check Point’s Harmony Email and Collaboration technology uses AI and ML to analyse users' historical interactions and email usage patterns.
By mapping user history and past communications, Tecala provides pre-emptive insight to complex email security threats, such as business email compromise.
“This partnership with Check Point further strengthens Tecala as a cybersecurity frontrunner and enables local businesses to enhance their defenses. Together, we are setting a benchmark for security and innovation," said Murray Mills, head of cybersecurity at Tecala.
“By combining Check Point’s cutting-edge email security protection solutions with Tecala’s award winning services and local expertise, we aim to elevate cybersecurity standards and foster a resilient digital environment for organisations."
"It’s this seamless integration and interoperability that enables our clients to enjoy reduced complexity, while improving the capabilities of customers’ existing technology platforms. This reduced complexity leads to the optimisation of IT investments and reduced business risk.”
By scanning every file and attachment for malware and ransomware in the cloud, Tecala's solution identifies and captures malicious emails and files before they reach the user’s inbox.
At the same time, Check Point technology constantly trains and tunes the AI to identifiy and block attacks unique to an organisation.
“Our partnerships play an integral role in our success, and we are committed to investing in these relationships. Tecala is a natural fit for Check Point," said Leo Lynch, head of channels Australia and New Zealand at Check Point.
"They are an award-winning MSP and a leading MSSP within the APAC region. We selected Tecala as our partner because of their leadership in cybersecurity services and their ongoing investment in effectively covering today’s attacks within our portfolio.”
