Mark Roberts, networking business manager at Lan 1 claimed the channel program offers resellers hands-on and web-based training on a regular basis. It also features a lead referral system, bid desk, access to discounted internal not-for-resale product and marketing development programs as well as funding.
“An educated and supported channel is one that works with you as the supplier to grow the business together for the benefit of all concerned,” said Roberts.
TalkSwitch has also released two additions to its IP phone range: the TalkSwitch TS-9112i entry level phone and the TalkSwitch TS-480i Executive IP phone. According to Roberts, the vendor’s strong product portfolio will help differentiate reseller partners in this market.
“[A reseller] also needs to be equipped with the right product mix, which is why we are also announcing the release of two new IP phones today,” said Roberts.
The TS-480i offers 14 line appearances and dual Ethernet connection, while the TS-9112i offers 13 one touch feature keys and a dedicated headset connection. The phones automatically configure when connected to the same LAN and plug directly into the data network.
Lan 1 suggests resellers focus on the ease with which TalkSwitch products can be deployed and used, while phone system resellers should highlight the fact the IP phones operate like traditional PBX.
TalkSwitch signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Lan 1 in November last year, bringing the vendor’s telephone system to small businesses in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
The TalkSwitch Certification Program will be taking place on Monday 19 May in Sydney, Wednesday 21 May in Perth and Friday 23 May in Melbourne.
