Symantec has hired former HP channel boss Adrian Jones as its new vice president for Asia and Japan.
Jones previously managed channel partnerships throughout Canada for HP in his role as vice president and general manager of HP's Americas Solution Partners.
He also managed HP's channel partnerships in Asia Pacific and Japan as senior vice president of enterprise servers, storage and networking, as well as senior vice president for Oracle Asia Pacific.
“We believe that Adrian’s drive to grow our business, his experience running global field organisations, and track record of managing a $2B multi-product business across Asia Pacific and Japan, is a real asset to our business,” said Mike Brown, Symantec interim president and chief executive officer.
