Global edge cloud platform provider Fastly has named security company Nueva as its inaugural managed security partner in Australia, to provide high-performance and secure solutions.
Nueva is a Sydney-based cybersecurity firm with nationwide reach.
It provides a comprehensive range of services including network security, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and governance, risk and compliance assessments.
The collaboration with Fastly will enable Nueva to expand its security offerings and deliver enhanced protection to its growing customer base.
As part of the partnership, Nueva will integrate Fastly's security platform.
This includes the Next-Gen Web Application Firewall, DDoS mitigation, and bot management solutions.
This addition aims to give enterprises a competitive edge with built-in security for fast and secure content delivery and digital experiences.
"We're incredibly impressed with Fastly's security solutions whose scalable web application security and controls can fundamentally reinforce how we deliver even more robust security to our end customers, Ferdinand Tadiaman, chief executive of Nueva said.
Tadiaman added that Fastly's strong market reputation would give Nueva an advantage in enhancing the cybersecurity posture of medium and large-sized enterprises in Australia, particularly those conscious of pricing.
Fastly's head of channel and partnerships Alan Chan said the provider's new program offers managed service providers a set of incentives, training, and enablement to capitalise on the growing demand for the Fastly Platform delivered as a service.
Chan said Nueva was selected based on their mature managed security services capabilities, expertise, and customer-first approach.
Nueva partnered with Cloudian in 2023, for object storage and cloud backup.
