CMS IT has beaten off competition from Dimension Data to secure a five-year managed services deal with Global TV.
The deal was secured by CMS IT's sister company, CrossPoint Telecommunications.
It took eight months of negotiation following an RFP and goes live this month.
The previous incumbent was Dimension Data-owned company BlueFire, which did not respond when contacted by CRN.
CMS IT chief executive Angelo Millena told CRN that the contract comprised managed IT services, a mixture of cloud and in-house hosted servers, full-time, onsite IT staff and 24/7/365 helpdesk support.
"We also provide support to ensure their broadcasting trucks and crew can successfully connect to their office infrastructure, ie emails on phones and connection to their internal ERP and in-house applications," said Millena.

It is the latest in a string of wins for CMS IT, which only last month announced a deal with the Sydney campuses of the University of Tasmania.
"It is a busy time and we are winning a lot of accounts," said Millena.
Global TV has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and provided outside broadcast and studio production for the likes of Channel 9, Seven and Channel 10.
