ASX-listed Strathfield has signed a five-year master dealer agreement with Optus.
Strathfield said the deal gives potential franchisees "confidence" to enter a sub-dealer agreement for a minimum of five years and continue opening shops and mobile phone kiosks in shopping centres.
Under the agreement Optus has the option to renew the deal for a further five years. Strathfield's partnership with Optus dates back to 2002.
Strathfield Group chairman Vaz Hovanessian said the contract is "noteworthy" and signals the success of the restructure, which occurred after the Strathfield board regained control of the company from administrators last year.
The agreement is effective as of 1 September.
