Security vendor StickmanCyber has entered into a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to deliver Google Security Operations (SecOps) to medium-sized businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
Google SecOps offers a unified experience across security incident and event management (SIEM) and SOAR (security orchestration, automation and response.
Furthermore, Google SecOps provides threat intelligence, enabling swift detection, investigation, and response to threats.
Its AI capabilities allow for the efficient transformation of threat intelligence into actionable insights.
The collaboration aims to address the longstanding cybersecurity challenges faced by mid-market companies in the region.
By leveraging Google Cloud's enterprise-grade security solutions, StickmanCyber will offer an affordable and comprehensive security package tailored to organisations that may lack the resources or technical expertise to manage advanced security measures independently.
"Australia's medium-sized businesses have always struggled with cybersecurity, because they don't have the people and tools needed to stay secure," Ajay Unni, chief executive and founder of StickmanCyber said.
"We are not interested in pushing products for the sake of it, we only provide the critical products and services that help businesses stay secure," Unni said.
StickmanCyber says its partnership with Google Cloud means it can offer customers an affordable package of the best possible enterprise security products on the market.
"This means a medium-sized business with a medium-sized security budget can have enterprise-level security with a highly futureproof roadmap that doesn't require looking to new vendors every year for the latest technology," he added.
The decision to partner with Google Cloud came after careful consideration, Unni said.
"We don't choose partners lightly. After much consideration, there was no other partner that could provide security solutions that have the power, speed and scale of Google Cloud, with the added benefit of pricing that is tailored to the mid-market," he explained.
StickmanCyber's existing portfolio of IT security services includes Compliance and Security As A Service (CSaaS), Virtual CISO, Penetration Testing, Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response.
