ShoreTel has restructured its Australian and New Zealand businesses and appointed four new executives to lead the changes.
In order to expand its cloud services, the collaboration vendor has reorganised the regional business into four units: channels, client sales, service design and activation, and customer services.
Craig Howe, who was the company's partner business manager, has been promoted to channel manager for ANZ. Howe has more than five years of sales and partner management experience at ShoreTel, and more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry.
Howe started out in EDS Australia’s graduate development program in 1996 and, prior to joining ShoreTel, he worked in enterprise sales at Commander and Communications Australia.
According to ShoreTel's vice president for Asia-Pacific Frederic Gillant, focusing on service experience and business outcomes will be key for the company's success going forward.
For the new role of client sales director, ShoreTel recruited former M5 Networks Australia managing director Richard Ruth. He joined ShoreTel as part of M5's acquisition in November 2015. Prior to M5, Ruth worked for Business Concepts and Impact Data.
Leading the technical design and delivery team is John Jackson, formerly ShoreTel's sales engineering manager. In his new role as service design and activation manager, Jackson will be responsible for assisting partners and their customers with solution architecture and provisioning for both onsite and cloud-based UC projects.
Jackson joined ShoreTel as a sales engineer in 2009, after five years at Nortel. He has more than 25 years' experience in telecommunications.
Former M5 senior systems engineer Bradley White has been appointed customer success manager. His team provides post-sales support for ShoreTel’s onsite and cloud-based UC deployments across the region.
All four executives will report to managing director Jamie Romanin.
