Schneider Electric has announced the winners of its annual Sustainability Impact Awards, celebrating organisations leading decarbonisation efforts across the Pacific region.

The awards, presented at Schneider's Innovation Summit 2025 in Sydney, recognised companies that have translated sustainability ambitions into concrete actions focused on net-zero targets, electrification and digitisation.

SA Power Networks and WaterNSW were named joint winners in the Customer category for their environmental stewardship and innovation.

Operating with nearly 80 per cent renewable energy, SA Power Networks earned recognition for accelerating South Australia's clean energy transition.

The company partnered with Schneider Electric to implement SF6-free switchgear and Dynamic Operating Envelopes to enhance grid stability.

WaterNSW received the award for its approach to sustainable water management, implementing advanced monitoring technologies including telemetry and AI-driven compliance tools.

The organisation also developed inclusive sustainability policies supporting First Nations' water rights and ownership.

In the Partner Awards category, Datacom took home both the Australian and International Operations awards for its commitment to reach net-zero emissions by 2030.

The company has already transitioned its New Zealand data centres to 100 per cent renewable energy, reduced air travel by 40 per cent, and optimised logistics to minimise waste.

UPS Power Solutions received the New Zealand Partner Award, recognising its role in delivering energy-efficient, reliable power solutions to major organisations across the Pacific.

"This year's award winners exemplify how connecting innovation and collaboration can accelerate the energy transition and contribute to raising sustainability benchmarks in the region," Colette Munro, Schneider's Pacific Zone president said..

The annual awards programme forms part of Schneider Electric's broader strategy to recognise and promote sustainability leadership across its global network of customers and partners.
