SAP partnership drives CN Group's growth

SAP has appointed Computer Networks (CN) Group as lead integrator for its HR Payroll implementation contract at the NSW Department of Education and Training.

CN will lead a consortium of three SAP system integrators including Epi-Use and Zero1 on the transformation project.

The first part of the project is the rollout of SAP HR/Payroll for NSW TAFE. In addition to this, CN provides a hosting service for the DET's non productive and development systems.

The Group's consulting division, Consulting Networks, was also given a SAP hosting certification in Australia, the first local SAP systems integrator to receive the official accreditation.

"Now with the SAP hosting certification, we can present our 300 SME customers with the option of fully hosted enterprise-grade SAP benefits at SME prices," said Brian Pereira, Group CEO of CN.

The deal caps off six months of rapid growth for the IT services provider which opened a Brisbane office and doubled its staff from 30 to 60.

Pereira said in August/September last year, the company announced that it was "entering a growth curve.

"We said we would double our staff numbers from 30 to 60 by the end of the calendar year, but we have already reached 60 staff," he said.

"We've probably exceeded our own expectation in terms of growth for the group across consulting and computing for midmarket and enterprise," he said.

The company plans to open an office in Newcastle in August and Victoria by year end.
