A sleepless night awaits SAP innovators looking for something to do prior to the start of the financial software maker's annual user gathering early next month.
SAP will hold its first Australian innovation competition SAP InnoJam at the end of this month in the lead up to its Australian user group meeting.
Sydney’s University of Technology business school campus will play host to the competition to pit IT managers, business-process experts and software developers against each other. Participants will have 24 hours and the aid of SAP experts to build prototypes to solve real-world business problems pitched to them by business leaders.
“SAP InnoJam enables SAP to innovate hand-in-hand with technology, business and industry experts to solve real-world problems,” said Kaj van de Loo, SAP senior vice president of technology strategy.
“The event is not only a great opportunity for SAP’s ecosystem to collaborate and innovate; it also provides excellent feedback on our technology at an early stage of its development, as well as ideas on how it could be deployed.”
The top three teams present their prototype at the user group conference a few days later.
