Melbourne-based software testing firm Revolution IT has scored a $9 million contract with the Department of Home Affairs.
Revolution IT will provide advisory services to the department by connecting it to “top quality” vendors to deliver a range of IT needs. The contract commenced 1 July and will finish on 30 June 2019.
“This is a new contract as the previous contract with Revolution IT expired and there were no further extension options,” a spokesperson from the department told CRN.
“Revolution IT has demonstrated capacity to provide high quality and skilled testing resources, flexibility, responsiveness and competitive rates.”
Modis Consulting, formerly known as Ajilon Australia, was also selected to provide advisory services. The request was sourced via the Department of Human Services' ICT Services Panel arrangement.
Earlier this year, the department awarded Datacom with a $35 million contact centre deal in an effort to modernise its citizenship services.
