Readify, Kloud, BizData, UXC win Microsoft global awards

Australian companies Readify, Kloud and BizData have beaten fierce international competition in scoring 2015 Microsoft partner of the year awards.

Microsoft this week announced that Readify had been crowned Australia Partner of the Year, as well as Application Lifecycle Management partner of the year.

"The Readify team consists of an exceptional group of people with skills that have helped customers break new ground with big data, mobile application development and the Internet of Things," announced Microsoft. "Its reputation with customers is legendary."

Kloud took out the Cloud Productivity partner of the year trophy.

"We are thrilled with the result as you can imagine, with it being our first ever global win" said a spokesperson for Kloud. "We were also named one of three finalists for the Enterprise Mobility Suite partner of the year."

The vendor recognised that in four years Kloud had "successfully deployed more Office 365 seats than any other Australian partner, [with] over 1.5 million seats across more than 200 large enterprise organisations".

Melbourne-headquartered BizData was honoured with the Business Intelligence award for its work with Tourism Australia.

"The solutions enabled Tourism Australia to address the breadth of data collection, consolidation, self-service analytics and real time decision making needs," announced Microsoft. "The solution was developed leveraging SQL Server 2014, Power BI, Share Point 2013 and Azure cloud services."

UXC Eclipse, the ERP arm of UXC Limited, scored the Microsoft Dynamics Industry award. which the company attributed to its retail success.

"We started our push and investment into the retail sector 24 months ago, and with support from Microsoft, we have developed strong market leadership and secured significant wins based on our retail solutions, experience and delivery reputation,” said UXC Eclipse chief executive Bradley Stroop.

"In the last four months, we have secured over $20 million of business within the retail sector with contracts in North America and Australia." 

US company Nintex – founded by Australian entrepreneurs Brian Cook and Brett Campbell – won the Microsoft Office and SharePoint Application Development gong. Cook was a co-founder and former CEO of OBS, while Campbell had stints at BHP and ANZ Bank.

Winners will physically accept their awards at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Orlando, USA on 12 to 16 July.
