Address management software vendor QAS has appointed a new account manager with a view to growing its northern channel.
QAS has appointed Gabrielle Webster as northern region partner account manager, covering channel relationships in NSW and Queensland.
Webster has previously worked for networking distributor LAN Systems, vendor Borland Software and broad-based distributor Ingram Micro. She claims some nine years' channel experience.
'QAS plans to drive growth within its partner channel by developing relationships with organisations that need to provide customers with data integrity through best-of-breed solutions,' the company said in a statement.
Glenn Parker, MD at QAS Australia and New Zealand, said the vendor wanted to 'enhance' the technology offerings of ISVs, VARs and system integrators by helping them keep their contact addresses and databases up to date.
'Going to market without an address management offering will soon become obsolete,' Parker claimed.
QAS pushes QuickAddress customer information management software, which the company claimed could help manage outbound mailings, data input or information received in phone calls.
The 13-year-old British company opened Australian offices in 1998, with headquarters in Sydney and branches in Melbourne, Perth and Canberra.
