IT services provider PS&C has named Kurt Hansen as chief executive of its security and communication businesses and Jeff Bennett as its chief financial officer.
Hansen joined the company in August after leading Melbourne-based Tesserent’s global sales division for one year, while Bennett joined last month after leading global sales for Oracle partner UXC Red Rock since 2016.
“Kurt is a highly experienced senior IT executive with a major emphasis on cybersecurity and communication,” PS&C chief executive Glenn Fielding said.
“We are delighted to have Kurt’s experience and passion for building profitable, high performing teams as part of PS&C moving forward.”
Hansen has also served in leadership roles at Telstra, Cisco Systems, AirData, Symbol Technologies, F5 Networks and CheckPoint software.
Bennett replaces outgoing CFO Julian Graham, who held the role since PS&C listed on the ASX in 2013.
“Jeff has a tremendous amount of experience in the IT sector and public company experience as a senior executive and board member,” Fielding said.
“We are delighted to have him joining PS&C. I would like to thank Julian Graham for his diligent work with us over the last four years.”
Bennett also held the CFO role for UXC Professional Solutions, Ingena Group, Intermoco and Simoco Group, and worked as a finance manager with BHP Billiton for 12 years.
PS&C general manager of finance and administration Mary Pitt also joins the senior executive team as company secretary.
“These appointments are a step towards taking advantage of the foundation at PS&C,” Fielding said.
“I believe there is an outstanding opportunity to improve performance and we are assembling the team to achieve that.”
