Melbourne-based Techplus Distribution has partnered with Proofpoint to expand the messaging security vendor’s Asia-Pacific presence.
Techplus will provide enterprises across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia access to Proofpoint’s security products which aims to protect against both inbound and outbound message-borne threats including spam, viruses and content security risks.
The deal covers Proofpoint’s entire line of enterprise messaging security offerings including the Proofpoint Protection Server software, Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway, Proofpoint Network Content Sentry and Proofpoint Smart Search appliances.
Paul Kern, managing director of Techplus Distribution, said: “Proofpoint has a proven history as the leader in enterprise email security, and we look forward to bringing its products to our customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Proofpoint has already had outstanding success in this market, and with this partnership we’ll be able to expand Proofpoint’s footprint in the region.”
