Plastic iPhone bares all on camera

Rumours of a cheaper budget iPhone have been circulating for some time – now its case has been shown off on camera.

YouTube user DetroitBORG compares the case – which appears to be genuine – to an iPod Touch and iPhone 3GS. The budget iPhone will reportedly replace the current iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, and appears to have roughly the same dimensions as the current iPhone 5 – complete with 4in display.

Plastic fantastic
The budget iPhone shown off in the video is white, although the handset will reportedly be available in a veritable rainbow of hues.

If this is the real budget iPhone then colour us tentatively impressed – just as long as there's a budget price to match it come its eventual reveal.
