The main focus will be on applications and services that can be delivered on expanded high-speed networks like Telstra’s ADSL 2+. Paradigm will also be a ready vehicle for Australia’s innovators to develop and promote their technologies.
Mark Stead, PKBA’s commercial director told CRN, that Paradigm is also positioned to bring innovative business technology to metro and regional Australia.
"It will provide Australian technologies with a more effective development and commercialisation vehicle than for instance government-sponsored and stand alone incubators. Instead of shuffling papers and talking about great software development, Paradigm will actively develop new software, which will then become proprietry and exclusive technology pushed out by PKBA,” said Stead.
The first solutions in the Paradigm suite, centred on virtualisation and applications delivery, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, he said.
According to Stead, PKBA will showcase the Paradigm software suite during PKBA’s Expo08, to be held across Australia from the 18th of February to the 18th of March.
