Pitney Bowes Australia appoints director

Wardley will focus on the company's overall service offering with its traditional mailing products and also introduce new mailing software and hardware solutions to the Australian market.

He will also lead a consulting services practice for Pitney Bowes.

"Pitney Bowes has an excellent customer base and strong market share in Australia and I will focus on ensuring our existing customers are provided with an overall better service offering," he said.

"The company is in a good position to increase its footprint in the Australian market and offer more sophisticated services that reduce cost and improve their business mail operations."

Wardley was formerly head of Equant's consultancy service in the Asia-Pacific region, where he drove the growth of the company's professional services practice and introduced global training programs.

He has also held senior roles with Orange Business Services in Asia, and he has worked in professional services roles for Wang Australia, Scitec and Memorex Telex.

Wardley said his aim was to cultivate closer relationships with the company's existing customers and help them improve their mailing and customer information production cycles.

He said there was a significant opportunity to help businesses enhance their workflow management, document handling and overall management of high-end postage equipment.

"I am looking forward to introducing new professional services systems that will enable our new and existing customers to improve their mailing operations, and reduce their overall costs," he said.
