Cloud based identity and access management provider Okta has named Johann Ramchandra as its new Regional Alliance Manager for the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Most recently, Ramchandra spent one year and four months at Illumio as director of channel sales for Asia-Pacific.
Ramchandra has also held senior roles at global security vendors such as Proofpoint.
Speaking to CRN Australia, Ben Goodman, Okta's general manager for Asia-Pacific Japan welcomed Ramchandra.
"Johann brings a wealth of experience in partner sales within the cybersecurity space, having held successful roles at Symantec, Check Point, and most recently Illumio," Goodman said.
"His deep connections with key partners in the region and proven track record of driving results will be invaluable as we continue to execute our Partner First strategy," he added.
"At Okta, partnerships are at the heart of our go-to-market approach, and Johann’s appointment reflects our commitment to investing in our partners andstrengthening those relationships."
