New Zealand's Scientific Software & Systems has been awarded partner of the year at the annual Sophos Asia Pacific Partner Conference.
PowerNET Computer Consultants were also named Sophos UTM Networking Partner of the Year as recognition for their recent growth in the unified threat management (UTM) market.
The New Zealand-based IT services provider has been a Sophos partner for more than a decade and also signed on as an MDM partner in 2012. PowerNET has been working with Sophos since 2005.
According to Sophos' channel director, Karen Delaney, "Our ANZ partners continue to outperform our expectations by focusing on increasing their product expertise and services to deliver exceptional results".
The conference was held in Hanoi, Vietnam and featured keynotes from the Sophos CEO, CTO, CMO and global head of security research, James Lyne.
Sophos updated its UTM security solutions back in March and recently acquired Cyberoam to further improve its security solution offerings.
