Cloud computing software company Nutanix has appointed Jelaine Doncaster as its head of channels for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Nutanix said Doncaster's leadership will see the company "continue to support partners as they capitalise on current market opportunities."
This includes those arising from its strategic partnership with Cisco and the opportunity to help customers navigate the uncertainty of Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware.
Doncaster has 30 years' experience in the IT sector, having most recently served as general manager of licensing consulting at Datacom.
Previously, she served as ANZ country managing director at SoftwareONE, and before that Doncaster held multiple senior roles at Data#3 during a two-decade tenure.
“There is forced change creeping through the market. It’s a tricky time for ANZ partners because they’re simultaneously swimming against inflation and other macroeconomic pressures," Doncaster said.
"My goal is to help partners de-risk their businesses and strengthen trust with Nutanix in this new era."
Jelaine will report to Nutanix VP of partner sales for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) Michael Magura.
Nutanix also recently appointed Chris Porter as an NC2 solutions architect based in ANZ, who previously served as principal solutions architect at Amazon Web Services.
“Having grown up in the channel, few people have a better understanding of the challenges partners face,” Nutanix APJ GM and VP of sales Aaron White said.
“Jelaine is a natural fit to lead our local channel team because she understands what partners need to remain profitable, achieve better outcomes, and rise through change and uncertainty in the market.”
